Mountain View Beautiful Large House By Cockermouth

An expectional place run by helpful staff.

Pros: It was very beautiful house with everything you need inside. The owner was super helpful and even informed us touristic places and great places to eat.

Cons: Nothing really. It was all very pleasant!

Well cleaned, comfortable and wonderful for vacations.

Pros: The property was very nice, clean and comfortable with a nice morning view. Private driveway was awesome. We really loved to stay over here. Darren was so helpful and had a clear communication about entering the house and heating. I will definitely recommend this to my other friends and families.

Pros: Everything. The communication was on point. The previous person staying had missed placed the tv controller. They sent the cleaning lady to help me look for it in half an hour. Just amazing and lovely people to deal with.

Lovely stay, very clean and lovely host - would definitely recommend

Pros: Lovely location, beautiful views from back of house, easy to get to places of natural beauty. Cockermouth is a nice little town and wasn’t too busy or touristy. Loved Wordsworth House and Gardens.

Nice big house but clearly needs some maintenance

Pros: Nice big house with a view. You can park in front of the house. Nicely decorated. Even a washing machine is there. Good location to take a trip to the Northern Lake District.

Cons: House was insufficiently cleaned when we arrived. Toilet on the ground floor dirty, dish in the dishwasher not clean (needs maintenance?), freezer dirty. The house used to be beautiful but clearly needs some general maintenance as removing the mold in the bathroom, fixture of the shower head, a new mirror in the bathroom. The fittings on some doors are loose, the bin has a loose lad. As sorting of the trash doesn't work (people before us in the house threw everything without thinking in different bins in front of the house) it clearly needs some explanations how to separate the trash. The windows in the house need to be cleaned and furthermore a bit of garden furniture could help feeling more welcome. The drying rack was broken.

Good stay in the Lake District

Pros: The rooms were well set up Nicely furnished and decorated Good living room area

Cons: There were 7 in our group and the sofa was not big enough to sleep 2 people. It’s a bit far away from any shops.

Pros: Really lovely little house in the heart of a small quiet village. Very big and spacious for its size. Great views from the dining room and kitchen! The communication from the host was really efficient and welcoming.
