Fantastic, quant little cottage. Perfect for a relaxing but adventurous getaway.

Pros: Location was beautiful, lovely view of the hills from the hot tub, quiet little village but the cottage is set back from the road making it even more secluded and peaceful. Given plenty of wood for the fireplace- which heated the cottage up quickly. Host was very welcoming and gave us many suggestions for day trips. Nice big tv. Very well equipped, lots of cooking equipment. Hot tub was big and didn’t take long to heat up. Not too far from the lakes or the coast but had very scenic views to get there.

Cons: The bedroom was lovely, but it was very bright in the morning even with the curtains closed. It’s down to personal preference but black out blinds would be a nice addition. Also an addition of a big frying pan would be good.

Pros: Beautiful property, building and land contained a lot of history. Clean, warm and cosy.

Cons: No fault of the property or the owner, but will be bringing a car in the future as all attractions and activities aren’t in walking distance.
