Very peaceful and relaxing.

Pros: The location was perfect, very quiet but only a 10 minute walk into the town. There were plenty of places to eat, lots of great walks and very friendly people. The cottage is quaint and Charlie, the owner, who is a lovely gentleman, met us with the keys and showed us around.

Cons: Unfortunately the heating wasn’t working but we survived a particularly cold snap by using a little electric fan heater and the oven in the kitchen area. This has been reported to the owner.

Excellent and even the weather pretty much played ball.

Pros: The property was great. Everything you could need was there. Great quiet location. Even got to see a quick glimpse of the badgers.

Cons: Nothing at all, even my dodgy knees managed the steps up to the property!!

Moffat vacation.

Pros: Spacious,peaceful and comfortable in a quiet location.Owner was friendly and helpful.I arrived ahead of my estimated check-in time and this was no problem at all!

Cons: The only real thing I would suggest for improvement is the heating system,although I think the owner will be aware of this already and maybe have some plans in place.Also wifi only worked briefly,however I was able to use my mobile network to access the Internet as necessary.

Pros: Lovely quiet, off road location, with parking, whole cottage to ourselves, fully equipped and furnished, with everything you could possibly need.
