Kestrel Lodge 7 with Hot Tub

Loved the area and our stay.

Pros: I loved the size of the property. It was clean and smart. Nice touch with the Bluetooth speakers and hot tub which was also lovely. Close to shops to which was about 5 minute drive.

Cons: There were no charging stations for electric cars. Unfortunately the location of the area is difficult for car chargers as they don’t seem to work but this wasn’t the property’s fault however would have helped if they property had this. Unfortunately heating took a while to heat the property but it was fine eventually. Unfortunately very little takeaways in the area. We didn’t really see any staff as keys were left in the door when we arrived, we only saw them when they did something to the hot tub.

Pros: Loved the spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort of the lodge... Excellent

Relaxing, comfortable break with lots of peace, quiet & chilled out time!

Pros: Comfortable, well maintained and decorated lodge in the peace and quiet of Galloway! (Beginning of March so not much open but that didn’t really bother us too much!) Bluetooth speakers throughout lodge (we like our music!) we’re also great.

Cons: Only niggles related to kitchen equipment as could have done with a couple of extra things (colander, wine bottle stoppers) but as only 2 of us and a couple of days we found work arounds! Only provided with a bathroom towel each but we had brought a couple from home as wanted to make use of hot tub!
