Swallow Barn at Greenclose Farm

Stylish, comfortable and well designed, but could do with a few more items to help it function better as a self-catering

Pros: The design and the layout were great. Stylishly conceived and built, quiet, and comfortable.

Cons: Slightly understocked with simple items (bottle opener, wine glasses!, vegetable peeler, colander, sieve, measuring spoons/cups, serving bowls, there were weighing scales, but no battery etc…) and it would have been nice to have had some basics such as coffee, sugar. I know it may sound pedantic, but I travel a lot and always cook in the self-catering places that I stay in and therefore have become accustomed to being a ‘kit bag’ of essentials, but it was particularly sparse here. Also as it was cold we were inside but I would imagine that using the outside space in the summer might be odd as you are literally in the farm yard. Some tall bushes for privacy might work. A later check out would also be appreciated especially given that the rubbish needs taking out, the beds stripped and the dishes washed and re-stocked
