Great place to relax

Pros: The wifi and heating were exceptional - vital in a cold January! Site was very quiet so the lodge was just great to relax and recharge in. A bonus was the reclining sofas.

Cons: The double bed needs a new mattress, the one on the bed is very soft and uncomfortable.

One of the better equipped caravans I have stayed in. Nice touch with the welcome pack and good communication with the o

Pros: Homely feel, comfortable sofas and main bed. Welcome pack and extra kitchen items eg washing up liquid, kitchen roll.

Cons: Personally there was a little too much traffic noise, others might not be bothered by this. Obviously this is beyond the control of the owner.

Calm, Cozy and peaceful.

Pros: Super lovely location, with a little town nearby, all clean and amazing instructions on how to use everything. We were hiking scafell pike, and it was a short drive but this made our stay super comfy and very enjoyable.

Cons: i loved it all!

Lovely lodge, good location to get to other places in the Lakes, Tony the owner was easily contactable and really helped

Pros: It had absolutely everything, properly kitted out! Very clean and comfortable in lovely surroundings.

Pros: The lodge was spotless and very comfortable. Great few days break with our dog . Added bonus was a freezer that I was not expecting which was ideal for freezer blocks for our lunch bags . Very close to Cockermouth and the lakes. Would thoroughly recommend

Cons: Nothing I can fault . My partner is very sensitive to noise and there is some traffic noise from the main road during the day but quiet during night. This was not an issue for me .
