Stanleys Sanctuary

We had a lovely stay with many long walks, there are some beautiful sites to visit all within 20 minutes drive.

Pros: Clean, tidy, location, and the quietness were all perfect

Cons: The gas hob perhaps needs a service, it was a little temperamental

Highly recommend, great area, many things to do and many leaflets there as well as board games.

Pros: Very clean and the owners were lovely and messaged of we had any questions. They were very prompt with their redponses.

Cons: Nothing was lovely.

Pros: Gorgeous quiet, clean and friendly site. With great access to local villages and towns We used it as a stop over after 8 days of travelling atound Scotland. We didnt even leave the site and was thankful of the books on the shelf and the board games. The neighbours were so friendly and it was just a gorgeous chilled break which saved me from having to travel down the M6 home on a bank holiday weekend!

Cozy, comfortable, great location

Pros: very cozy and well equipped with games and kitchen equipments, very good location, easy to find and park, near Keswick Buttermere and all the nice lakes. There’s also 2 toilets which is really convenient

Cons: No hairdryer or any body soap, could be quite hot during summer no fan

Was good would definitely stay again

Pros: Was very clean and smelt really good, staff was super helpful with the regular updates and messages via booking.

Cons: I didn’t like the bed that much wasn’t the most comfortable but that’s okay only to sleep !

Two days in heaven

Pros: Everything ! The lodge itself was very well equipped . The beds were very comfortable, the living room was spacious ,and a very nice patio. But mostly we liked the area ,it was so peaceful.

Beautiful place, you can tell it’s well cared for.

Pros: Spotless! Lovely location and had everything we would need. Very spacious! Which is always good when travelling as a family.

Cons: It took a while to warm up but that’s more personal than an issue with the property. The toilet seat in the main bathroom was a little loose.

This caravan complimented our little get away nicely

Pros: The caravan was nice & cozy and we enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing and short drive away from a good number of sightseeing places. The hosts were also very accommodating with our request.
