Very tranquil cottage

Pros: Very peaceful location. Excellent cottage, very warm and welcoming. Great for exploring caerlaverock wwt, castle and nature reserve

Very pleasant and ideal getaway

Pros: They had child safe gates installed for us, very welcoming gift basket, quiet environment and great location.

Great overall apart from the mattress.

Pros: Quiet, rural location within plenty to do within easy reach. For nature lovers the Wildlife and Wetland centre nearby is a must for a winter trip. Well equipped cottage overall with a well designed conversion.

Cons: The one thing that would put me off returning was the quality of the mattress - very soft, basic mattress with no top padding on the double bed. Some people may find it OK but others like me will not.

Peaceful, spacious and clean, and a great place to relax, unwind or explore the countryside

Pros: Beautifully restored property. Spacious and very clean. Hosts on hand for a query re tv and dealt with immediately. The peace was amazing. Days out locally were not far and really good restaurants/cafes. A great break to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Would very much like to get back there again.

Lovely peaceful space, would book again

Pros: Beautiful space, very comfy and excellent kitchen equipment, furniture, and bathroom. Great location, Really enjoyed our stay. Nice touches like a welcome basket, tea, coffee, milk. Thanks so much for having us!

Cons: Mattress was a little soft for my taste but my partner enjoyed it!
