Pros: Comfortable cottage, plenty of room, facilities and kitchen equipment excellent. Lovely to sit in The garden, our dog certainly enjoyed running around it. We were very sad to leave.

Pros: We love everything about this cottage but the garden is the crowning glory and the pictures do not do it justice. It is huge and with the summerhouse and beautiful planting you won't want to stay inside. The large windows in the kitchen and living room make you feel like you are in the garden all the time. The cottage is extremely comfortable and has everything you could need and the large kitchen is very well equipped. It is peaceful but still close to shops etc in Annan and the beach at Powfoot and there are some lovely walks at Hoddom castle all are only 10 mins drive. Caerlavrock castle is also very worth a visit. You also are not too far from Dumfries and Carlisle if you want to visit somewhere bigger. It is perfect, especially if you have children or dogs, they can run around the garden for hours. The host was very friendly and helpful. This is our third year staying and will definitely be back again.
