Breathtaking.

Pros: Incredibly beautiful house, set in the most breathtaking location. Ive never slept so well, due to the isolated nature of the area and the comfort of the beds. The bath tub is huge and you can hear the river running by as you lie in it. We all slept woth our windows a jar to hear that beautiful noise. Its like step back in time, filled with the most beautiful little touches, including former professionals who worked at the school.

Cons: I would have like some softer furnishings in the room with the big fire, a nice sofa, or softer snug type situation, and a firmer pillow but that is personal preference and does not reflect on the stay.

Lovely old house

Pros: The house was a beautiful house well appointed and supremely comfortable. Loved the open fire.loved the garden setting

Cons: The roll top baths were too difficult to get two of our party in or out of so no available showering facility. Chimneys needing swept so made use of range for warmth unavailable. Never found the garden furniture which the owner and I discussed
