Pros: There are beautiful views from the garden, and the garden itself is lovely. The cottage has loads of character and original features, and also an excellent modern shower room.

Cons: It is quite a long way from the bedrooms to the shower room.

Lovely warm cosy cottage ideally located in the heart of the Lake District.

Pros: Lovely warm cosy cottage well equipped kitchen with all the utensils and extra you need. Bed was very comfy and the biscuits and wine on arrival was a nice touch. Pub 5mins walk away does great food.

Cons: Larger towels.

Great location and views. Easy to find. Very quiet

Pros: Cottage was in a great place, very quiet and plenty of parking in the drive for one car. 2 cars would be tight squeeze depending on size of cars. Beds we comfy. Kitchen facilities had all we needed although working out how to use the hob took a little patience but I was being impatient so that could be more me than the cooker. View out the back was great too. Wifi very good and reliable. And mobile phone signal good too

Cons: Steps on the stairs are a little narrow but nothing the owners can do about that. Caution is definitely advised when coming down the stairs although this is something I have found with a few cottages so not an issue solely with this property.

Pros: Great village location with handy public transport links. The cottage was clean with plenty of space for our stay. Very comfortable- we felt at home immediately. Nice garden at the back of the property with fantastic views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to book again in the near future.
