A nice family break in the Lowther Hills, We will return.

Pros: The location was was great. Some of my maternal 3 x Gt. Grandparents lived in the village and worked in the mines.

There were 6 of us (4adults & 2 children). The accommodation was big enough for us. Would like to return and explore

As an over night stay it was perfect

Pros: We loved the bath, upstairs was really good for my daughter and twins. The area was great

Cons: The parking was a problem, a van was in our parking space.

The perfect remote get away

Pros: The cottage was amazing and so much bigger than you think. So cosy and homely. Really quiet and peaceful. And loved that the private pool was 2mins away. Would definitely go back.

Cons: Only complaint we have is that the double bed mattress upstairs was uncomfortable. Quite hard. Has gave me a sore back. But other than that we found everything perfect and would go back.

Gem of a cottage in Scotland’s highest village.

Pros: As soon as you enter the cottage, it has a warm & welcoming feel. Beautifully presented & with all you need. We had the best night’s sleep! Beautiful views & a really interesting location, with lots to visit. We hope to return when we’re not just ‘passing through’!
