Relaxing break in beautiful surroundings

Pros: The harbour view.They thought of absolutely everything you could need to make stay excellent. The bed was so comfy and all the extras like Alexa, the pad to charge phones, iron, hoovers, etc all made the stay homely.

Pros: Beautiful apartment in a great location very comfortable and well equipped

Excellent short break - So much more to see in Whitehaven, we wished we’d booked for longer.

Pros: Lovely location - we enjoyed watching the harbour, and the sunsets from the balcony and inside from the many windows when the weather was poor. Everything about the flat was well maintained and very clean. Great to have modern lift when you’re lugging suitcases. Whitehaven had much more of interest than we realised. We wished we’d planned a longer visit.

High class apartment with superb views.

Pros: Beautiful, comfortable apartment of a very high standard. View and location are amazing. Communication was good.

Overall it was a very pleasant user experience.

Pros: The location was excellent, Railway Station, Tesco etc., nearby. Nice nearby pub (The vagabond for Sunday Lunch and an evening meal). Local Chippy (Frasers) very ncie take-away fish and chips supper. Beacon Cafe, loveley cakes and a lunch. Lovely views of and walks around the Harbour. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Narrow Guage Railway well worth a visit along with a walk and look around the nearby \

Cons: (1)...The front door lock is probably worn as the key didin't always open it first time. (2)...The instructions for access to the apartment were not as clear as they could be. I suspect that they were never given to someone not associated with the property to test...! I intially assumed that the keysafe and keypad shared the same combination, but this wasn't the case. (3)...The Herring Gull nest outside the bedroom windows. The gulls squawked at you if you looked out of the window, neither could we open the windows. (4)...The furniture on the balcony was unusable as it had not been cleaned as a result of sea gull activity (poo)! (5)...The TV was somewhat fiddly as there did not appear to be a freeview signal and everything was via the internet. (6)...The mattresses were not partucularly comfortable. Item 3/4/5/6 seem to be recurring themes from comments left in the visitors book.

Comfortable week away in fab location

Pros: Fabulous location with a great view. The apartment is spacious and has everything you will need. Good base for West lakes.

Great apartment, lovely views.

Pros: Lovely spot, great views. Nice apartment. The booking.com listing says it is 1 bedroom, but it is actually 2 bedrooms.

Cons: There are a few things that need fixed, the bathroom door handle was coming off and the toilet seat was broken. Not major though, we really liked the apartment.

Flat provided everything we needed very attractively with great views and great location.

Pros: Modern, bright, well equipped, great balconies, great views.

Cons: Rug in bedroom with en-suite curls and is a safety risk. Telescope is only for show, otherwise website and photos are v accurate.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Lovely view by the port, facing sunset 😍, clean flat with a cosy vibe.

Cons: Although fully equipped kitchen is available, we struggled for coffee for the machine (none was provided that would be compatible) and early in the morning not many shops open to sort out coffee 😅. Minor thing though and overall comfortable stay. Would return if ever in Whitehaven.
