Whitecairn Holiday Park

Accommodating above and beyond staff, excellent lodges, beautiful location!!

Pros: How accommodating the staff were, especially when we had a flat tyre and our insurance company let us down when we were travelling with two kids, one who needed medical attention and an adult with additional needs. They were always available at reception whether we walked in or rang them by phone, they went above and beyond when we were stranded towards the end of our holiday, ensuring we were safe, warm, fed and even offered us an additional nights stay when things were looking like the worst. Also the lodge was stunning, the hot tub spacious, perfect temperature, both bedrooms had their own bathrooms and the living, dining kitchen area had a warm feeling to it, just what you needed after a day hiking in the area, enjoying wildlife and nature.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like, just a tip for those who wish to stay, especially with kids, whilst it's economical to plan meals for each night as you may think you can drive down to the nearest town and shop for more food as it's self catering, it's probably best to over shop just in case you find yourself stuck. There is a lovely Chinese takeaway which is one of two restaurants who will deliver but it's cash only.

Pros: We were a group of 10 people stayed there. Beautiful location. Nice walking area and local shops available. Close to sea side and some other beautiful places . Very clean. I felt like I was staying in a 7 star hotel. Wonderful lodge with a big hot tub and definitely I will be coming back again with family and friends.

Pros: Apart from the fact booking.com gives u the impression your getting a lodge with hot tub ,if fact your getting a a caravan, not the woman in caravan parks fault ,but booking.com fault for wrong details on there website

Pros: First time staying at the Whitecairn Holiday Park and very sad to leave. It has been a lovely weekend for me and my friend, very kind and helpful staff, very clean upon arrival, gorgeous lodge and had everything we needed and more, lots of space and plenty of room, hot tub was also a bonus. Will be recommending this to others and hope to be back sometime in the future!

A very well appointed mobile home in a beautiful setting.

Pros: Superb location at the front of the park with a wonderful view.

Cons: Wifi was poor with very intermittent connection.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday

Pros: The caravan was very clean and really comfortable, home from home, had everything we needed. The staff on the site, couldn't do enough for us Highly recommended.

Cons: Their was nothing not to like, it was a really relaxing holiday.

Lovely Park nice & quiet .

Pros: We was visiting family in Luce Bay so the location was good .It was a very nice Caravan Park quite & clean .Caravan was very clean & well equipped .

Cons: The WI-FI Wasn’t great but it’s bad in that area anyway .

Pros: location fantasctic, cemntral for lots of places, we were visiting kitchen coos and ewes and only 20mins away so perfect for us,

Cons: constant banging Saturday into Sunday, couldn't work out where from or what it was, sounded like a shot gun/bird scarer going off but that wouldn't have continued overnight, didn't spoil our stay, was just a but of a pest!!
