Lovely Hotel in a Stunning Location

Pros: The check in was friendly and informative. The room was lovely with a great view over the golf course and the Solway. So clean and well laid out, the bathroom was spotless and very shiny. Water supplied and good coffee maker. Comfortable public areas and a coffee café onsite, coffee is fab. Breakfast was fantastic, with choice and very obvious quality ingredients, the staff are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Evening meals were good and we enjoyed eating there on 2 nights, good selection of wines and spirits. Shout out to Caitlan, her customer service is superb, she is knowledgeable and very people friendly, she made our stay, as did all the staff I might add. Highly recommend this hotel, tranquil and cozy, we shall return. Oh an there is electric car charges behind the hotel too, Well done to everyone who made our stay special.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a delightful room with splendid view across the Solway Firth, and the food in the restaurant is exceptional. Had a marvellous time birdwatching - it’s such a rich coastline.

Cons: Some areas are a little tired e.g. the carpet on the main stairs.

Pros: The staff went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and dealt with our every need. We were a large group with mixed age range and some medical needs. All were superb. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the food was superb.

Third time visiting, handy location for regular training nearby, staff helpful, friendly and relaxed
