value for money. no personal touch

Pros: Price. Unmanned accommodation with self check in. everything done via text, although responsive and polite. The property was clean and comfortable had stayed here in the past

Good stay in a convenient point on my journey.

Pros: Good value small fried breakfast in large restaurant room adjacent to main entrance. Taken late in the morning just before heading out to visit Dumfries House, well worth the drive but much further than anticipated ! Room was very comfortable and warm, quiet also .

Cons: En suite shower room with a shower which I was warned took a long time to run warm …. Which was absolutely true , tip : run the hot tap in the hand basin, when it arrives warm then the shower will too . Extractor fan switch Very high up by the ceiling cornice - ideally a pull cord would be better. Also a small Motel style bar of soap would be a good addition ✅
