Exceptional staff, facilities and atmosphere

Pros: The staff were exceptionally helpful and thoughtful, the atmosphere relaxing yet attentive, and the location and facilities top-class. Friendly, relaxed small spa and gym. Generous and delicious breakfast. Great beachfront walks. Easily accessible by train - station c. 20m walk.

Cons: Could not fault our stay, it was excellent.

Lovely last minute night away treat for me and my daughter. We were made to feel very welcome.

Pros: Staff were so attentive, nothing was a problem. Bedroom was warm and a good size. Bed was super comfy, lovely bouncy duvet and pillows. Evening meal was beautiful. Great swimming pool and jacuzzi. Can't comment on the sauna or steam room. Spacious dressing room. Overall decor of the hotel was very elegant.

Cons: Only one size of dressing gowns available, I had my 8 year old daughter with me and it would have been nice if she could have had dressing gown and slippers too. My evening meal was charged to the room, I signed the reciept and added 15% gratuity, but at check out i realised they had already applied a service charge.

Relaxed and incredibly comfortable

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, great atmosphere in every aspect from the bar to the spa. Great food, great drinks, fantastic views as well.

Cons: Nothing, all good.

Pros: A great Seaview from the room we had. The entire hotel is just fantastic, great décor throughout and the best staff I have ever come across, they were friendly and very efficient. The breakfast was simply superb.

Cons: Although the bathroom was really nice, it was just a little small.

Cons: The jacuzzi pool was the size of a child’s paddling pool, fitting three people! Not good enough for the size of the hotel and other facilities.

Pros: Staff working in the hotel are outstanding, extremely friendly and helpful. My neice has autism and the lovely lady running the restaurant accommodated her dietary requirements and befriended her, other staff members were eager to help us enjoy our stay reception staff, hotel porter and bar staff were all amazing. Hotel is decorated beautifully and maintained well. The two restaurants serve delicious meals and cocktails and the breakfast experience was excellent, lots of variety. The wellness centre has a lovely swimming pool/ jacuzzi . Pool toys for kids which was good for my neice. The bedroom was decorated beautifully, I enjoyed the condiments and espresso machine. I did not notice any noise from outside or other rooms.

Cons: That we cant afford to stay every week .

Brilliant

Pros: We had a brilliant stay at Marine Troon, the staff were amazing, especially the woman that check us in she went above and beyond and absolutely made our stay, we can’t wait to come back!
