Dumfries Apartment

Pros: The apartment was great ! well equipped and very clean. it felt very homely. As we were up for the hockey. The location near the ice bowl was perfect. and the local takeaways are really good. Chip cafe was best chips ever :) and the Pakora for the indian next door . wow l

Cons: The only slight niggle . Was the shower, If set on high then no matter where u set the temp it just went from ice cold to scalding hot in seconds and back again. My partner was left with red marks from the burns. But when set on ECO with the shower dial full on hot . the water was only luke warm ( but at least we did not get scalded ) But the stream was so weak. this may of been because the shower hose was damaged but not sure. We will be coming back . But looking online will prob try to book apartment 2 as the shower looks better now we tried the 1st

Good value, convenient, central.

Pros: Great location in central Dumfries, good eating choices right next door, plenty of space in the property, comfortable and good value.

Cons: There’s just the one shower/bathroom/toilet so be aware of that if there’s a group of you.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location for us

Pros: Second stay here. Apartment is spotless and comfortable. Close to town centre. Spar shop selling hot food opposite.

Pros: Comfortable place close to the main area of town. It was a little difficult to locate at first.

Pros: Pleasant well presented apartment with small kitchen suitable for preparation of basic meals. Comfortable bedroom. A large Tesco supermarket nearby and short walking distance into main town area

Cons: Neat and tidy but not clean as we would have liked. No meals area or dining table.

Good value for money.

Pros: Perfect location for walking into town and for driving out of town too.

Cons: Bathroom needed a plug in the sink and maybe a small table and chairs for eating. But the flat was fine for a short stay.

Lovely stay in a very pretty part of Scotland

Pros: Very spacious and well equipped apartment well located to explore Dumfries and Galloway. Very close to Dumfries centre. Nice reclining sofa, comfy beds and great kitchen. This is a beautiful part of Scotland that we hadn't explored before. The Galloway forest is very pretty, my son loved feeding the red deer! (make sure you take some carrots with you) Had some lovely days out to the Moffat hills, caerlaverock castle well worth a trip and a lovely beach near kirkudbright.

Cons: Was a little tricky to find the rear parking and apartment on arrival. Had to ask some locals for help

Pros: Good location, good price, good-sized kitchen and living room.

Cons: Shower full of mold...cleaned it ourselves with bleach Sparse kitchen...no knifes, no tea towel etc

Enjoyable stay we will be back.

Pros: Great location! Good facilities. Good golf courses within a few minutes and 5 minute stroll into the town. Hosts are on hand should you need anything. What’s not to like!
