We had our best ever trip to the Lakes and staying at this property made all the difference.

Pros: Superb central location with parking space. Accommodation itself is fantastic: style and substance, everything we wanted and more!

Pros: Location was brilliant Property had everything you could wish for

Cons: Pictures did not do it justice far better in person

We were very comfortable, we had a lovely stay and will book again

Pros: Comfortable beds and sofas, everything in the property was of a high standard, pictures and decorative items were obviously chosen with care and of lovely quality.

Cons: Just a few small observations. The bath is difficult to get in and out of being in the eaves, the upstairs bedroom with sloping roof made the bed awkward to get out of one side. The bedroom window needs replacing, the note says please do not open as it is hard to shut, but it had alrady been opened and could not close, it was held almost shut by a bracket that has been installed, which meant it was a bit draughty. The step from the hall to the kitchen is not wide enough to get your foot on, we both slipped several times and it is dangerous, and a health and safety issue especially for older people like us. This could easiily be rectified by increasing the step which would not intrude into the kitchen,

Wonderful!

Pros: What a beautiful place. Very comfortable and cosy. Especially loved the double bedroom on the top floor. Very comfy bed, slept so well every night! Stunning views from the hall window, dining/living room and top floor. Very convenient location in the centre of Grasmere. Lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs just a stone's throw away.

Cons: Tricky getting in and out of the bath but the shower was amazing. Not a fan of artificial fragrances but there was only one in the hall, so just moved it into the guest room which we didn't use so no problem. (Very pleased no synthetic fragrances elsewhere in the accommodation - so many places seem to have them these days which is a problem if they trigger health issues).

Lake District Exploring

Pros: The location and size of the apartment with the view over the stream/farm.

Cons: Lack of amenities, could have done with some more basic amenities such as soap, toilet roll and kitchen roll

Pros: Lovely apartment, great facilities and perfect location

Pros: The location was excellent and the property had everything you could possibly want. .

Cons: The only tiny improvement would be directions, it took a bit of head scratching before we found the entrance

Perfekt und traumhaft schön

Pros: Es war perfekt. Sehr sauber, komplett ausgestattet. Es war tatsächlich traumhaft. Wir haben uns für eine so große Wohnung entschieden, um die Regentage zu überbrücken. Es hat aber nicht geregnet und umso schöner war es das Apartment einfach so genießen zu können. Wir haben den Lake District noch nicht „zu den Akten gelegt“ und wenn wir wieder Zeit finden, dann werden wir dieses Apartment erneut buchen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber, es ist nicht nur sehr liebevoll, sondern auch perfekt eingerichtet um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen.

Cons: Einziges Hindernis war das Schlafzimmer mit Dachschräge, dass meinem Mann mit 1,85m zum Verhängnis wurde. Aber wir haben für unseren Aufenthalt einfach das Bett verschoben. Somit war es problemlos und zur Abreise haben wir alles wieder umgeräumt.

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad, Drystones in Grasmere is zeker een bezoek waard

Pros: Ruim appartement boven winkels, met aan de achterzijde uitzicht op een beekje en een park. Heel compleet en smaakvol ingericht, ruime slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. Prachtige locatie, in een winkelstraat maar geen last van geluidsoverlast gehad. Eigen parkeerplaats naast naast de winkels. Vlakbij restaurants, pubs enz.

Cons: Er was geen haardroger, maar dat is dan ook het enige “minpuntje”.
