Spacious 1st Floor Apartment

Fantastic Apartment in a Stunning Location

Pros: The location was perfect, being a 10 minute walk from the centre and a stone’s throw from the pencil museum! The views are stunning. Parking was convenient and the apartment is easy to find. It was wonderfully equipped and has almost everything you would need. The bed was comfy and everything was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was spotless.

Cons: There was nowhere to sit and do my hair/makeup, as there is no dressing table/chair(s) in either bedroom. We also noticed on our second night that all the windows had been left unlocked, which seems a bit of a security issue given they are big sash windows. It would have been nice to have a throw or 2 on the sofas

Really good base for visiting Keswick, clean and comfortable.

Pros: The property was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfy. Had everything needed. Perfect location for a lovely short walk into Keswick through Fitz Park along the river Greta. Good car parking facility. So much to see/ do on the doorstep… Castlerigg Stone circle, Lake Derwentwater, Keswick shops, mountains , lovely walks, cinema, etc K2T trek is a must!

Cons: Just felt quite cold in the front room even when heating was boosted. Tea/ milk sachets left but no coffee.

Great property in Keswick

Pros: Location, good parking, comfortable, clean and facilities. Great communication.

Cons: The lounge would benefit from another comfortable chair for a group of 4 adults

Great comfortable stay with easy walk into town ( and very comfortable beds!)

Pros: Clean and comfortable with everything you need. Beds were so comfortable and the huge bathroom was great. Easy to use key pad and only a short walk into town…although the pub on the street, The Pheasant, did fabulous food with a great friendly vibe.

Cons: I missed not having a fire… and the tv remote didn’t work ( just dead batteries I think). But they were only minor things compared to all the good things.

Pros: Lara the host was amazing and so helpful.The apartment is huge and so tastefully decorated.It was spotless and provided us with everything we needed and more .Such a perfect location to the park and town .

Lovely spacious and clean accommodation, perfect for stay.

Pros: Clean, spacious property. Great location. Good provisions in kitchen. Helpful owner providing great information. Comfortable lounge area and nice shower. Dedicated parking space. Nice pub and cafe just up road.

Cons: Mattress and pillows were soft and particularly uncomfortable. Minor point-helpful to have bins in bedrooms. Also could do with a stand or unit in bathroom for somewhere to put clothes, towels etc. when showering. Found an airer to dry wet walking clothes but it was rather small. Pity there isn’t a dedicated drying area or ability to hang things on a line outside. It would have been amazing if there had been an electric car charge point to use while parked. Booths charge points was busy and find other charge points wasn’t easy.

Lovely first floor flat with private parking

Pros: Flat was in a good location to town centre; only a very short walk. Lovely views. I found the owner very approachable and very, very helpful at all times. Accommodated my severe fragrance allergy and all rooms were well aired for my arrival, which I really appreciated. Would come back and stay here again.

Cons: The bedrooms were rather chilly and got colder in the evenings. Followed instructions to turn heating on but couldn't get it to work. As I was only there for 2 nights didn't contact owner initially. Was told later that they turned it on with no issues but will keep an eye on it. If i'd been staying longer would have contacted to let them know sooner as I found the owner very approachable and very, very helpful at all times.
