Plum Cottage

Pros: Perfect location, lovely cottage with a brilliant size garden. Was lovely and clean with everything you need.

Cons: Only reason I've not scored full marks as the bed was shocking, the bed base is caved in and you can feel the springs in the mattress digging into you.

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in a lovely location — we would happily return.

Pros: It was a comfortable one bedroom cottage, within a short walk into the town centre. it was very clean and tidy. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The private parking was a bonus. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town, with a variety of shops. The complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee etc were a nice touch. We will definitely be back and we will recommend this cottage to others.

Cons: Overall everything was good however just a couple of points, I feel it needs a shelf or cabinet in the bathroom to put your things (although it is next to the bedroom, so not far to carry your items.) and a dish cloth would have been handy.

Pros: Lovely cottage 10 mins from town with parking...sll the little touches were exceptional

Visit to Plum Cottage 3rd-5th February 2026

Pros: It had been freshly redecorated and new carpet in every room. The garden was fully fenced in which was good for the dogs we took with us. Location is a 5 minute walk from Keswick Town centre with plenty of shops and pubs and of course the lake. There is parking at the cottage for 1 car off the road. The shower is more like a wet room so there's plenty of room and the shower unit is very easy to use. We will definitely visit Plum Cottage again and recommend it to friends and family.

Cons: It's worth using Google maps to find out where it is and what it looks like as it's slightly back from the main road and quite easy to miss.

Comfy cosy stay

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage, very clean and nice touch with Christmas decorations. Comfy bed and would happily return.

Getting over Xmas, 1st weekend break of the year!!

Pros: Usually I'm a solo traveller but I was dog sitting for my friend, so I was a little unsure about taking the dog with me, but when I got there, I knew I'd made the right decision. The garden is completely enclosed and the place was spotless and well looked after. Keswick is so dog friendly too. It was easy walking distance to the center, and even though it is behind another house it is very private.

Cons: There was nothing, not to like!!

Perfect little cottage

Pros: We've stayed at Plum cottage several times as it's a lovely cottage close to the town centre with parking and a lovely enclosed garden. The cottage is always clean and well presented. We've already looking forward to staying there again in 3 weeks time

We had a brilliant time in an excellent location staying in a very cosy clean cottage. Would stay there again
