Cosy Apartment in Wetheral

Comfortable quiet

Pros: Very clean, well equipped and comfortable in a nice quiet area

Cons: Unfortunately not a negative but we couldn’t use WiFi but really wasn’t a problem. Not sure if garden down below apartment is owned by someone else but it’s untidy, but again not a negative. Only one thing I would say is the apartment windows need cleaning as on a sunny day with beautiful views it was hard to see with all the cobwebs! Sorry

Pros: The relaxing feel of the apartment, we had a lovely chilled time.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Great hidden gem

Pros: Lovely little apartment, far exceeded expectations, was very clean and modern. The host was responsive to our queries, would highly recommend as a place to stay whilst in the area.

Lovely place to stay well maintained, full of everything you need. I would stay there again

Pros: The property was clean and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Had no issues parking in the parking bay across the road, entry was easy and it was a lovely cosy place.

Cons: The only thing I could fault it on was the mattress, we found them to be too hard for us.

Pros: Location was perfect for us with family in nearby Scotby. A quiet road with ample off street parking. Apartment clean, well maintained, tastefully decorated with all necessary facilities for our 2 night stay. Communication with Lucy easy though not really necessary.

Cons: A few little irritations like 'wobbly' cutlery, but this didn't mar our stay lol

Superb apartment, value for money in quiet friendly area

Pros: This is a superb apartment, in a lovely road , very quiet and friendly area. Tastefully decorated, comfortable, very clean and comfy beds. It is lovely and cosy, but bigger than we thought it would be. Would have liked to have stayed longer. We look forward to staying there again when next in the area. The area is delightful and people friendly. It is close to Carlisle and lots of historic and beautiful places to visit. We visited Lanercost Priory a few Miles away, which was tranquil, beautiful and well worth a visit.

A lovely weekend away, lovely weather and a comfortable place to stay.

Pros: The location was good for us. Close to all the places we wanted to visit.

Cons: Unfortunately there were 2 minor problems with the property. The microwave didn't work, all the buttons seemed to work apart from the 'Start' button. The loo seat was broken but ok to use.

Really beautiful property in a great location

Pros: It’s was spacious and beds were super comfy. Lovely space to stay in.

Comfy dog-friendly 1st floor flat

Pros: Good location for villages east of Carlisle. Also for local facilities in village. Property had hard floors throughout making it worry-free for our dogs leaving paw prints accidentally. Very comfy beds. Very quiet area day and night. Excellent grassy park area opposite house accessible via short alley for dogs to run around on.

Cons: Although dog-friendly, be aware there is no garden at the back so the front has to be used, meaning human having to get dressed at night. Only one small sofa and no other chairs in lounge so three adults can’t sit in there. (Add an armchair.) Kitchen had four dining chairs so one adult had to sit in there at the table. It could do with more kitchen facilities such as a teapot, a cafetière for ground coffee making, a sieve (or tea strainer). Small maintenance issue’s were irritating: only the left slot of toaster worked and the toilet seat was not fixed down.

Pros: Nice, clean, well equipped apartment. The perfect home from home. I was just here for a long weekend, but it would be great for a longer workaction too. A nice quiet, peaceful place to be. Nice river walk about a quarter of a mile (or so) away.

Cons: Nothing, not to like. It was lovely.
