Excellent , comfortable , clean and homely.
Pros: Such a wonderful stay for myself and 4 kids that were travelling with me. Cozy and very warm on arrival. This little place has everything you need , kids toys , games , children’s plates and cutlery , all kitchen utensils and some cleaning supplies too. Our children absolutely adored the pig and the chickens and ducks. That really made their trip. Host was very attentive, we are planning our return again soon. Really wish we could have stayed an extra night.

Overnight stop to attend a graduation in Carlisle. Quaint little cottage
Pros: The accomodation was very quaint and in a pretty little village. It was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable and the host, Cat, was lovely and very accomodating. We arrived early, but she had everything ready for us and we were able to unload and get settled in before it went dark.
Cons: Nothing, it was lovely.

Perfect!
Pros: It was beautifully presented and so relaxing to stay in. It had everything we needed and more. It perfectly catered for our two young children with children’s table wear and cutlery, books, games, dvds and the animals were a wonderful touch too. A fantastic place for a stop over or to explore the area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for 3 to stay.
Pros: It was perfect for the 3 of us - the 3 beds/sofabeds are in seperate rooms (there is two living rooms and a bedroom) and there are 2 shower/toilet rooms so it felt as though we had plenty of space and everyone could go to bed at whatever time they wanted. The place is spotlessly clean and new.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay in a quiet village convenient for motorway and M6.
Pros: Convienient location not far from M6 & A7; very peaceful; spacious accommodation; pleasantly decorated and furnished; very clean; owners friendly and helpful. We are a couple and were there for one night.
Cons: It’s a bit of a squeeze between the far side of the double bed and the wall (but at least it’s not right up against the wall). We cooked in the evening; there’s a portable, plug-in electric hob with two rings, and also two electric rings on top of the microwave, but no built-in hob. I fried eggs using the portable hob, but it took a while, because it didn’t get very hot. It was OK in the end though.

Good for a short stay.
Pros: The bedrooms were a very comfortable size. It was quite easy to get all the bedding and such for the sofa beds. The kitchen was very good, and had things we needed to cook (pans, air fryer, cutlery etc). The garden was lovely, and the animals were very nice to see, especially for the younger ones.
Cons: One of the bathroom doors did not lock. There was also a swing in the secret garden that was loose on one side from the rope, and fell out. There were plenty of flies, however we were right next to the animals, and it was summer time. The Sofa Beds and Main bed mattress wasn't as comfortable as we would like, but ok for a short stay.
