Amazing :)

Pros: The whole experience was absolutely amazing, the breakfast was beautiful even though we don't normally eat breakfast. The pool+sauna was really easy to use. Jo the host was fantastic from the second we met him until we said fairwell. We would most likely come back.

Pros: The hosts Joe and Fi were super attentive and have clearly dedicated their energy into making Craiglands a great place to stay. The decor, the feel and ambience were all amazing. We wanted to relax and the plunge pool and sauna were extra special for this! The cozy log burning stove near the bar area was just right to unwind in front of and our bedroom wow incredible!

Cons: We only booked one night!

A wonderful place to get away from it all

Pros: I loved the opulence, the decor and the effort put in. We brought our own food and wine, and that worked perfectly for us. The plunge pool/jacuzzi and sauna were lovely to relax in, and then the log burner was great to sit and chill in front of for the evening.

Cons: Just a teeny, weeny thing - It was a bit wet when we stayed so the path to the entrance was muddy

Exceptional!

Pros: Tranquil country setting in a new B&B within a historic house, where attention to detail was evident from the moment we arrived.

Cons: Not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

Beautiful House in Tranquil Surroundings.

Pros: Beautiful house lovingly restored and decorated, the whole ground floor dedicated to guests although I was the only one staying. Very peaceful, surrounded by trees yet just off the M74. Comfy bed in a spacious room and the use of plunge pool was a real bonus after a long tiring drive, there is also a sauna which I did not use. Ample continental breakfast with choice and fresh pastries. I would definitely use again as a stop off for a good nights rest. Ideal for anyone wanting peace and tranquility.

A night as a rock star in Grand Renaissance!

Pros: A quite unique stay, one could say more of a experience, the rooms are individually decorated to a high spec & very renaissance oriented- extremely comfortable having access to the ground floor & use of the sauna & Jacuzzi - relax in the open planned lounge area or your own grand bedroom. If you are looking for a special place to stay with a wow! factor then you’ll not be disappointed- the host is very friendly & accommodating- also includes fine continental breakfast with all you could want and more!

Cons: From my perspective there’s nothing to not like.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay which was better than expected. The sauna was a great addition, specially after a hike. Joe was available and gave us recommendations for a place to have dinner.

Unusual and Wonderful

Pros: The whimsical decor was fantastic with wonderful attention to detail. The bed, luxurious and comfy. The room had access to the dining area, self serve bar and well equipped kitchen. Breakfast was generous and we felt very cared for throughout our stay by Joe and Fi. Their emotionally intelligent hosting was a pleasure to receive. The pool and sauna were a fun bonus. The surrounding woodlands and streams are beautiful and peaceful. Thank you Joe and Fi for such a lovely stay, we look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

Cons: Our stay was too short
