Gorgeous countryside stay

Pros: Gorgeous big windows light cosy bed and sitting room combined Thought it was just a microwave so pleasant surprise that it was a better equipped kitchen than that

Cons: Be nice to have a rug in kitchen as there are cold tiles underfoot

Peaceful accomodation

Pros: Our second stay was another peaceful quiet few days away . We had a lovely breakfast basket with freshly cookes buns and homemade jam. Nice warm cosy and big bath .

Pros: Stunning views, very peaceful, comfortable bed, cosy room, lovely & warm . Excellent value for money. Lovely area to explore. Thank you Eleanor for letting us check in earlier than planned.

Cons: No running water in the kitchen & once kitchen is fully completed the whole place will be fantastic.

Chic, comfy and warm, stunning views

Pros: This is the most delightful space to be in, a huge airy room, beautifully furnished and containing the comfy four poster bed, sofa and dining table and a piano! It really has the wow factor. The bathroom is also large and comfortable, the kitchen is still being finished off at this present time but there is everything you would need to make a meal or drinks - oven, grill, kettle, toaster, microwave etc and it is being lovingly made. Eleanor is a superb host and brought us a lovely breakfast tray in the morning with homemade bread, butter and jam, coffee and milk - lovely. The surrounding area and views are magnificent, I saw one of the most spectacular sunsets I've ever seen on our first evening, overlooking the valley and distant hills. The farm is at about 600ft and the views are amazing.

Unique retreat

Pros: Peaceful retreat,massive living room/bedroom with skylight and four poster bed, beautiful carpets,totally unique.

Cozy retreat in a charming area.

Pros: Had an absolutely lovely time. Eleanor and John were super communicative and helpful in advance of our arrival. The place was even more gorgeous than we had expected! Definitely keen to come back, we wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful surroundings. Utterly charming annexe. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

A very welcoming and peaceful place to stay that is full of character and a very welcoming atmosphere

Pros: This is a very peaceful place to stay. The Annex is full of character with very well thought out features including a four poster bed. The hosts were very warm and welcoming which was important as a solo female.

Cons: The kitchen was unfinished and not well equipped. This said if there was anything I needed I only had to ask and the hosts were more than happy to help. I couldn’t really fault this property
