Pros: A warm and friendly welcome and also given a front door key so that we were completely free to come and go as we pleased but were secure. It definitely surpassed my expectations.

Cons: Nothing.

Overall good stay

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Room was very well equipped and spacious. Bed was comfortable.

Cons: Cold room until I figured out how to keep bathroom warm (with towel heater) and manage room heating

Great stay and would recommend - good value.

Pros: The staff were excellent and very accommodating; they provided me with a 'packed' breakfast as I had to leave before the breakfast service started. Great location too and central for what I needed. The room was large and well appointed.

Pros: The location . The staff could not of done any more for us they were so helpful. We are both celiac on gluten free diets, they bent over backwards to help, & provided us with a very good menu. Excellent. K

Staff friendly and room adequate.

Pros: Room was like a suite, with bedroom separate from living-room.

Cons: The doors of all the bedrooms need repainted. Looked very shabby. The restaurant was closed for some reason.

Warm welcome, but only cold breakfast on offer....

Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Room clean, bed comfy. Quiet. Excellent choice and flavour of Teas in room. Easy to use and adjust heating. Cosy wee Pub and Snug downstairs with great local beer.

Cons: Cold breakfast only was a slightly disappointing surprise, I wish we had checked. Breakfast was good and plentiful though, with cold meat, cheeses and smoked salmon, excellent fruit salad, juices, cereals, posh yogurts, bread and pastries; but we did miss our eggs in the morning...

Really friendly place to stay.

Pros: Room number 1 was perfect, large room with very comfy bed , 2 chairs to watch tv and a good en suite with bath and shower, Staff in pub were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Town is a delight, small but lovely to walk around. Ate dinner in pub both nights and had lovely continental breakfasts.
