Pros: Loved everything! The drive up through the trees in autumnal colours, the stunning views from the pod, the pod is huge! Warm and cosy, and comfortable! Everything you need is there to cook and clean. Nice shelter outside to stay out if the weather or a lovely fire pit to sit around in a nice evening! The place is easy to find (even in the dark!) Fantastic and lovely hosts, easy to communicate when you're running late! Our dogs loved it! Nice secure field they could explore and walks through the woods! Stunning stunning place! We will definitely be back!

Cons: Loved it all!

Beautiful pods

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay! The pod was great, completely met our expectations. It was warm, comfortable, clean and other than bedding/towels, had everything we needed including plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans, a microwave, toaster, kettle and a small electric hob. The horses in the field next to the pods are beautiful and very friendly. The field is enclosed so great for small kids or dogs to run about without them being able to escape! It is muddy though so remember to bring boots - I forgot and my trainers got ruined 😢 great little place to escape to though, would definitely recommend!

Cons: The only negative I have is the drive to the pods when you leave the main road - 2.5 miles of single track road. The road itself is absolutely fine to drive on but there aren’t many passing places so be prepared to reverse should you encounter an oncoming vehicle. I had to reverse 3 times on the way in and almost ended up in the bushes 🙈

Great reset in beautiful surroundings.

Pros: The pods were lovely, clean and had plenty of space for a family of 3. The area was stunning and good for people that’s like to walk around and explore although you can also drive if you prefer. Having horses right next to the pod was a lovely bonus too.

Cons: Nothing One point for awareness for anyone going is to take more firewood if you want the fire on all evening. There is a lovely starter pack that will last a few hours.

Lovely view in remote location.

Pros: The view - good to have firewood provided (even if we didn’t get chance to use it due to the rain). All facilities provided.

Cons: As an arthritic OAP, the step up to the property was impossible without help. Just too high - one extra wooden box to stand on to get me up there would have helped. Similarly, the key box was impossible to reach and manage, whereas we’ve accessed lots of key boxes on our travels - this one was too low down - couldn’t see / reach the numbers in the dark. Wish there’d been a couple more passing places and less local youngsters shouting and shrieking on that lane - what with a Chinese delivery guy banging on our door when it was dark & we were in bed (& the door curtain was broken), giving us the shock of our lives, shouting at us - when we hadn’t ordered a takeaway, it wasn’t a particularly relaxing place to be at night - put us off rather. Not the property’s fault though & probably just our bad luck. Oh - and the reek of weed from the couple in the next pod was quite overwhelming too!
