Great facilities and location. We will be visiting again soon.

Pros: The property was quaint, beautifully clean, warm and had everything we needed for our short 2 day stay. Being able to take our dogs was a bonus!

Cons: Nothing- except we stayed in a Monday and Tuesday when the pub next door was closed!!!

Very pleasant, and would stay again in future.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and ideally located. Good communication also. And great (also dog friendly)food in the pub next door.

Cons: Stiff lock to open and close the front door.

We loved our stay in Rose Cottage and would recommend to others.

Pros: We liked its closeness to the M6, it took dogs and it was very comfortable and well equipped.

One night stay

Pros: Absolutely loved the cottage, built in the 1600's. My kind of place πŸ™‚ maybe sofa could do with an upgrade as it was very, very low. Dog friendly....very important to us. Milk, juice and cereals provided within the cost. Food at the pub next-door was lovely although we were seated in a side room and forgotten about when asking to order dessert. Staff were very busy though.

Cons: Although the owners make it very clear the cottage adjoins a pub, sadly and probably due to the age of the building, there is zero sound insulation. You could hear every word and every chair scrape. No event on either so bare in mind if you are sound sensitive. Closed in the week so would be a perfect base then.

Cosy little cottage

Pros: The little cottage was beautifully fitted out and a lot of attention had been paid to the aesthetics. The kitchen had everything you could need and there was ample space. The bed was sooo comfy and the heavy feather duvet felt luxe for a holiday home. The waterfall shower was decent too. The owner was nice and helpful when he came round to \

Cons: The noise from next door when the pub was open was like sitting in the bar, although it was nice to hear a thriving country pub in this day and age and it was closed at a reasonable time. The place could do with some accoutic panels on the dividing walls. The couch/chair was very small and not very comfy, it felt like visiting my grandma, bolt upright and there was no room to lounge.

Quirky bolt hole with a pub.

Pros: Really quirky property attached to the pub. Everything we needed to a weekend stay. Quiet village location.

Cons: Our only MINOR niggle was the smell of damp dog in the lower floor - but possibly to be expected in accommodation that accepts dogs. Didn’t spoil our stay.

Cosy Appartement

Pros: Spacious Appartement, nicely furnished; breakfast items were ready to use in the kitchen

Cons: Pub next door is convenient, but a bit noisy. Noise stopped around 10.30.
