On Queens Promenade in Douglas, Edelweiss Guest House is a long-established guest house with sea views. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Manx Electric Railway and Horse Tram Terminus. Delightful B&B

Very comfortable enjoyable stay.

Pros: Great location on the seafront with sea views from my room. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Excellent shower with large fluffy towels. Single person lift available to upper floors. Fresh and varied breakfast selection with breakfast cooked to order. On street parking available opposite the hotel. Very reasonably priced.

Good, basic hotel with excellent service and hearty breakfast

Pros: No frills but comfortable and clean with exceptional staff who could not but have nicer or more accommodating. Great breakfast and exceptional value for money.

Cons: Nothing really. It’s a good 25 minute walk from the centre of Douglas but this is reflected in the price and I don’t mind a walk.

Great value for money in an ideal location

Pros: Location was great, just outside bus stop, the route serves the hotel, the airport, Douglas city centre, Castletown amongst others. The hosts were lovely particularly the woman, they helped with getting my travel card back from the airport after I left it there. Breakfast was also lovely, I imagine it might be better when visiting in the summer as I think it’s a buffet.

Cons: It’s a bit of a nit pick, but it would have been nice to have have been to plug my phone charger in besides the bed without to move the drawers. Other than that no major issues

From Ireland , my second visit to Isle of Man

Pros: The location is so close to a bus stop. The proprietor was there immediately at reception to greet me for check-in. The room was comfortable , warm and good size for one person. Breakfast was served on time from 8:00 am. All of the staff greeted me warmly. I had a sea view facing the sunrise. There was no night time noise from outside. At checkout they kept my luggage at reception so I could collect it in the early afternoon. My two night stay was excellent.

Cons: Nothing , it was a perfect stay.
