Fabulous stay

Pros: We had a lovely time staying at the Herdwick, and Andy made us feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble, we immediately knew that we would enjoy our stay. Our room was really nice, clean and comfortable, in a very quiet location, loved the extra touches such as being able to get fresh milk from the fridge. Breakfast was excellent, set us up for the day ahead, and we will definitely stay here again

Cons: Everything was lovely, parking is hit and miss, right outside, but able to park nearby and wasnt a problem

Pros: Location ideal,breakfast lovely,staff polite,best shower ever.

Cons: Top floor,room 6,better lower down but that's not there fault.

Pros: Our experience with Herdwick Guest house was amazing. Room was nice, clean and comfy. Staff friendly and helpful.

Perfect location and just the right amount of hospitality

Pros: Really well positioned, guest house owners on the absolute right side of friendly and welcoming without being too much! Breakfast was beautiful. Room was a bit smaller than expected but we did request a Mountain View which we got and was gorgeous. Had to cut out trip short due to a family issue, but would definitely stay again.

Cons: Room was smaller than expected but did have an amazing view ❤️

Wonderful stay.

Pros: Lovely warm place. Our room was lovely, great size and huge bed which was very comfy.

Cons: Nothing, parking a little stressful but you can find a place eventually. Smart tv would of been nice but don’t really watch a lot of tv

Great location, very friendly staff and good value

Pros: The Guest House accommodated an early check-in upon enquiry, which was so helpful to not need to carry my bags around town and have a brief freshen up when I arrived. The breakfast was very good and served with such genuine and interest from the owner about what I was up to in the Lake District. My expectations were set with the small/solo room I had selected when booking and I was pleased for the chance of a good value room to just rest my head, as I spent all of the day outdoors and in Keswick by evening.

Cons: The Wifi didn't seem to reach the second floor but this may not be a permanent issue, I didn't ask about it (I wasn't around the property long enough for really to be an issue), but I didn't have any Wifi up there during my stay.

Pros: Fabulous hosts, they go above and beyond to make sure all guests are welcomed and have everything needed. Lovely place to stay, close to town, home from home, we would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay 😀!! Thanks for a fantastic stay xx

Overall it was very good and host were lovely, room was just slightly small and window wouldn’t open

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and lovely and hot, location was great near centre and near restaurants and bars/shops

Cons: The window in our room warm not open, and it did get hot at night and needed fresh air.

It was exactly what we required for our stay and would struggle to find falt with it

Pros: The breakfast was very good and the property was idle for walking in to the centre nothing

Very enjoyable stay for my 60 th Birthday .

Pros: Breakfast was excellent . B&B just a short walk out of town , great central place for going walking in and around Keswick .
