Pros: Excellent location only 5 minute walk to town centre. Anne and Paul, the owners, were lovely. So friendly and welcoming. Room was warm and cosy with plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious.

Made a wonderful trip even more memorable

Pros: It had a homely feel and everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts were so accommodating and made the trip even more special. I would definitely come back and stay at Rowan Tree House.

Cozy and wonderful stay, would 100% recommend

Pros: Big room, very comfortable and huge bed. Delicious breakfast with big portions and plenty to choose from, lovely snacks and tea making facilities in the room. Immaculately clean and a very pleasant stay indeed. Short walk into town, easy to park.

A cosy and characterful B&B with a warm welcome and a brilliant breakfast.

Pros: The location, the great breakfast and the interesting décor, including Clint Eastwood resplendent in the dining room after hours. It was a nice place to stay as a solo female traveller - it felt secure and homely. A bowl of chopped fresh fruit with Greek yoghurt was a lovely touch at breakfast.

Pros: The room and bed was very comfortable and warm enough as the evenings were a bit chilly outside. The breakfast was excellent cooked perfectly and very filling. The fruit provided was lovely and plenty of choice of cereal. Would definitely stay here again. It was ideally situated for the town and the lake both being in easy walking distance.
