Comfy little cottage in a beautiful area.

Pros: Great location for walks in northern fells. Great pub for eating out was a pleasant ten minute walk at the other end of the village.

Cons: We couldn't get the boost on the central heating to work and the property lost heat quickly, but we were able to use the fire in the living room, and additional heaters were provided, had we needed them, so this wasn't really a problem.

Thanks to Don and Lindsay for their welcome.

Pros: Everything we needed was here. It is a cosy cottage and very comfortable. All items and appliances were excellent. Standard of cleanliness through out was high. The information folder provided was very helpful.

Cons: The weather could have been better, but I suppose that is the Lake District for you.

Pros: The cottage was well equipped with instructions for using washing machine dishwasher and oven. It was cold when we first arrived but warmed up when we put the heating on. The owner greeted us and was extremely helpful in regards to where to park our car.

Cons: There were no shops in the village and the closest were about 15 minutes away. The owner had let us know ahead of time, so we were able to stock up beforehand. The cottage was near a major road, easy access to and from, but there was some background traffic noise.

Pros: Really clean and well equipped and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Lovely courtyard fadden and excellent shower. Enjoyed the Netflix.

Cons: I wasn't a fan of how strong the airfreshener was in the lounge but that's a tiny detail!
