Almost totally perfect!

Pros: Wonderful rural location. Cottage very cute and comfortable. Fireplace impressive. Big kitchen. Underfloor heating makes it lovely and cosy.

Cons: Nowhere to dry the towels in winter. Although everywhere was immaculately clean, the metal gas 'rings' on the cooker needed a good scrub, (lots of burnt on food) . These are the only reasons for dropping a star, and I would definitely stay again !

Lovely tranquil stay in a delightful cottage ❤️

Pros: Lovely secluded and quiet location, yet still close to main roads. Very quaint cottage feel, loved the exposed beams and stone. Very well equipped kitchen, cosy living room, comfy beds and good bathrooms.

Cons: Nothing was bad !

Pros: Perfect location, quiet, well equipped, within easy reach of the best pub/restaurant the bridge end inn!

Cons: Everything, perfect for a week away for a tranquil family for a Cumbria university graduation

This is our 5th stay at this cottage as a family we love staying here the accommodation is better than a 4 star hotel gr

Pros: This property is so cosy and relaxing and has very thing you need to a well end away

Cons: Local road works are making it a sat nav nightmare but this will chance once road works are complete

Pros: Very well presented and set in an idealic location. Very quiet and peaceful, but only a 20 minute drive from the city of Carlisle. An ideal base if your planning on exploring the lake district.

Pros: Had an absolutely wonderful stay for a friends birthday. The cottage was spacious and lovely, with all the needed amenities. Milk, orange juice, sugar and even some breakfast items were provided which is a great touch. Hosts were fantastic and incredibly helpful, we needed a kitchen appliance and this was provided within minutes - Communication was great! The home itself was incredible, with a beautiful surrounding area next to some horses. We thoroughly enjoyed our BBQ too in the spacious outdoors, anything you could want was there and we even opted to stay in instead of exploring in the evening. Would 110% recommend and cannot wait to be back
