A little gem, perfect for walking and exploring the countryside

Pros: Good value for money. Location was perfect for getting to the Lakes & North Pennines. Scottish Borders were only a mile away. The cottage was very well equipped, very comfortable and had a lovely big bath to soak in after a long days walk. There was a wood burner but you really didn't need it for heat as the underfloor heating kept the place very cosy. Although on a working farm it wasn't noisy. A lovely peaceful break
