Fabulous Stay in a Great Location to M6

Pros: Fabulous lodge just off M6 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms excellent facilities. We were on a stop over on way to Scotland and I will definitely be using again. Easy to find. Nice welcome items. Warm and comfortable

Perfect for an overnight stop

Pros: Convenient location near the motorway for an overnight stop, well appointed and comfortable

Cons: It was freezing when we first arrived but the instructions for the heating were easy to follow and it soon warmed up. It was nice to have some milk and snacks left for us.

Fantastic value for money!

Pros: The property was brilliant! The space is huge, the bed and sofa were very comfortable and it had everything you would need to cook. If you have a dog, the enclosed deck is brilliant! 15 mins from Carlisle with plenty of small villages close by for a pub lunch and the park is lovely a quiet.

Very well equipped, welcoming and roomy.

Pros: Very clean and well presented with everything we needed for our short stay. The welcome pack was indeed most welcome after our long drive and the location, not far from the M6, suited us fine. There isn’t much on the site itself but it made the perfect stop-off and I would recommend it to families with a car for exploring looking for a comfy boot hole.

Cons: Few facilities on the site itself means you’ll be driving elsewhere for something to do. But that made it quiet and peaceful which was a bonus.

Quit location with a comfortable stay in a great lodge

Pros: Excellent stop over for our trip onwards to Scotland. The lodge had everything you could need. Nice touches with crisps biscuits and milk in the fridge for when we arrived. Easy to find 😀

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Good base for us visiting our in laws

Pros: How well equipped the caravan was Wi-Fi was excellent which was expected Bed was comfortable Lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated

Cons: Location, very close together vans Also we arrived on a Thursday, the couple of vans opposite were being used by work men who had there music on quite loud. Glad they went on the Friday
