Lovely Lodge - Fab Host

Pros: The lodge was fantastic - spotlessly clean and fully equipped. The host left a comprehensive guide to the lodge just in case a visitor had any problems. We contacted the host regarding a gas bottle change and our needs were met promptly. The bed was comfy - must have been as we slept like logs. The site was clean, quiet and well maintained. Too be honest it would be difficult to find a fault with the lodge. We would not hesitate to book again.

Cons: The only possible downside was that the internet was not very fast - good enough to read emails and WhatsApp messages. However great for a digital detox.

Pros: Convenient location for our planned weekend away. Comfortable place with what we needed. Recommend.

Pros: Everything else was good. Could do with drying rack and sponge in kitchen. When washing up. Was happy to see air fryer in kitchen. Amazing caravan. Best caravan I stayed in. Everything you whould need was there.

Cons: Wasn't informed by staff at the caravan park. That the power, gas and electric was being switched of. From 9am till 4pm on the 7th. So woke up to no power. Couldn't cook and use the toilet. Had my two year old daughter so it really hard to accomodate her basic needs. The park staff was rude on phone when we rang them. Saying no electric. So we had no choice but to stay out of caravan that whole day. The park should have told us . And got us food for my daughter that day.

Could have stayed longer. Will come back in future

Pros: Very homely and clean and tidy everything you could possibly need was there. Plenty of towels beds were comfortable.

Relaxing, comfortable stay!

Pros: It felt like being at home! The decor was so modern! The beds were very comfortable and just an overall great experience!

A pleasure to stay here. Have recommended to friends for short breaks.

Pros: The helpfulness and information provided by the host was amazing. Quick replies to questions and queries. Nothing was too much trouble.

Pros: Excellent property, well stocked with all the essentials and then some. Cooking essentials provided, milk, tea, coffee and sugar. Towels were provided as well. There was DVD's, books and games for the kids.

Pros: The lodge was clean and cozy, we had everything we needed. We'll definitely book again!

A perfect get away

Pros: The only way I can describe is it is homely, we have stayed in other lodges on that site and this is by far the best one we’ve stayed in. We felt right at home the moment we stepped through the door. Everything was perfect.

Cons: Nothing to report on.

Pros: Home from home in an excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. A great base to explore the local area and southern Scotland. We will definitely return Thanks for having us
