A comfortable and quiet stay, and exactly what we were expecting

Pros: The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and great value for money. The host was very helpful and welcoming (although we didn't meet her in person). We really enjoyed a couple nights of peace and quiet and exploring a part of Scotland we'd never been to before.

Cons: It's a shame that the village cafe and shop had closed.

A great place to relax or stop over on your way through.

Pros: Lovely & spacious, there were only 3 of us , it could comfortably take twice that many. The kitchen dinner was huge with a sizeable table to gather at. The weather wasn’t good but we were cosy & warm. Very quiet location , private garden plus a driveway to park in.

Cons: The nearest shop was a few miles away but not an issue as we were pre warned.

Ideal stop of point for Scotland

Pros: ideal stop off point before heading to the Highlands, quiet and everyone fitted in to the cottage comfortably. good shower and clean, excellent parking and plenty of space

Cons: No facilities locally have to travel to get to a shop

Pros: Spacious. Everything we needed. Location was lovely.

Very pleasant and exceptional host

Pros: Very today and well appointed - kitchen had everything we needed

Pros: Sensational views from garden, lovely cottage also had 3 bedrooms but 2 were listed so that was a nice suprise, felt like I had stepped back in time with the video player and braveheart VHS it felt nice to take a trip back down memory lane, big living room and garden ground floor bedroom was big and it's detached

Cons: No single shops or uber within 20 miles, but perfect if you seek isolation

Comfortable and functional.

Pros: Very comfy bedrooms. Location convenient and easy to find. Great view into hills from garden. Fairly clean property, and no problems with keys.

Cons: Location a little busy along the main street. Garden itself a bit messy.

One night stay

Pros: The house was clean, communication was excellent and arriving, getting the keys and leaving was hassle free. All in all we would stay again.

Cons: This isn't a dislike but the house would benefit with blackout curtains.

Suitable for our needs for a short stay.

Pros: Second stay while we visit family for the Christmas period, good facilities and location. Downstairs bedroom was lovely with good bed and thick curtains. Very warm when we arrived.

Cons: The double bed upstairs was very uncomfortable and curtains were very thin.

Excellent stoop off point for our week on Arran

Pros: The person who met us to give over the keys was very friendly and helpful. We were travelling to Arran and the ferry was not booked until 3. The host gave us permission to stay at the house until 11;30 the following day which was very helpful.

Cons: Although we stayed at the accommodation only for one night, the house was excellent, and I was happy with everything. There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
