Clean cosy and comfortable

Pros: The property was clean and very comfortable and although we were only there for two nights, we enjoyed it very much

Pros: A comfy house: more like staying at your auntie's who has a thing for chickens than a vacation home! Everything was just awesome. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

A fantastic base to travel from and come back to!

Pros: Lovely location, near to town centre and facilities. The area around Castle Douglas is beautiful. My only regret is because I was there on business I didn't get to see much of it. I will definetely return. Marcella was extremely helpful and the Coop was most welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.

Cons: Genuinely there was nothing to dislike. A lovely place in a stunning area. Be aware of WHERE and WHEN you're going. Castle Douglas in winter can be chilly! Its a pet peeve of mine people don't read up on things then moan!

Lovely accommodation, warm and welcoming in a great location

Pros: Loved this accommodation, so clean, welcoming and comfortable. Decorated beautifully and everything you need in a holiday property. Communication great. It is also in a great location in Castle Douglas. Big Tesco 5 mins away. We managed to park outside on the road, but car park directly opposite (free). The bunk beds are bigger than regular ones, plenty of room.

Cons: Nothing!!

The Coop is a comfortable flat, exceptionally clean, well appointed and conveniently situated in Castle Douglas.

Pros: The Coop was exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was very tastefully decorated reflecting its name. Although there was no private parking, we were always able to park on the street adjacent to the property. The owner responded promptly to a couple of queries I had.

Cons: Being elderly we found the position of the double bed to be too cramped for both of us to use. One of us slept in the bottom bunk. That said the beds themselves were very comfortable. The toilet and shower room was also very small and reached via a small step which required care to negotiate.

Pros: Well designed. Kitchen has everything needed. Bunk bed perfect love the wood panelling. Double bed very comfortable. Welcome pack a nice touch and unexpected, nice treats. Good sofa and nice large tvs in each room. USB ports in rooms. Nice patio for morning coffees. A perfect base to explore a beautiful area. Very reasonably priced. Recommended. Excellent parking just opposite.

Great property, great location.

Pros: The property was very well equipped , clean and of a high standard. The location was superb , very close to high street and supermarket and a great base for travelling to surrounding towns and places of interest.

Cons: I didn’t like the fact that there was no lock on the bathroom door.

Relaxing break

Pros: Love the area, been going there for 50 years, really nice apartment central to the town.

Cons: Nothing really, satisfied.

Our stay was very comfortable and the location was fantastic
