CosyHouse2 Private Parking Base for Lake District and Sellafield

Great location, parking and property! We will be returning again!

Pros: The property is furnished well and the beds are super comfy! The kitchen is fully fitted out and even had complimentary butter, milk and bread which was a nice touch. Everything was super clean and tidy and the property has lots of parking in front on the street and in the car park behind. We ran an ultramarathon during our stay and on our return were quite cold. I messaged the owner and asked if the heating could be adjusted to come on for an hour as we were cold (the property was warm but we were wet and tired) and the owner replied super quickly and the heating came on straight away! This is a great property in a great location managed well by a good owner! If you need to stay somewhere in the Lake District then i cannot recommend this place enough!

Pros: The property was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities we needed to cook meals. The location was ideal for us. Ennerdale, Wast water Keswick and Bassenthwaite all within a 40 minute drive away. I would definitely return to this property. Really nice traditional fish and chips shop opposite and a friendly pub the little arms 2 minute walk away. Very reasonably priced. Thank you

Pros: rooms and bathroom are cleaned thoroughly, bed linen and towels are washed thoroughly, parking is in a perfect location, I really enjoyed it, I recommend others to stay here.

A perfect place to stay for tours in Cumbria

Pros: Nice bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and a warm welcome with tea, coffee etc.

Cons: There was nothing much to do in the neighbourhood, we always need the car. But it is perfect for tours in the Lake District.
