Marni’s Cottage - Rural location & fell views

A clean, bright and easy place to stay - the perfect base for a few days in the lakes

Pros: Very clean, lots of space and we had everything we needed. The children loved the games and we loved the fizz and chocolate!

Cons: Nothing - it was all great!

Lovely cottage, well equipped and great for furry friends!

Pros: Lovely cottage, fully stocked, immediately felt like home and a great garden for travellers with furry friends!

Cons: The only downside was that the cottage is located along quite a busy road, which could wake you up in the mornings.

Our stay was amazing and would definitely return in the future.

Pros: The location of the property was fabulous and the property was amazing and exceeded our expectations - the host has thought of absolutely everything to make the stay at the property home from home. We would definitely be back.

Home from Home

Pros: We have lost count how many times we have stayed at Marni's. Everything is perfect, clean, comfortable, fabulous location for the fells, woodland walks, lakes and the beaches. The garden is enclosed for the dogs which is a huge bonus. It really is a 'home from home' with everything you need being provided. Thank-you again for a fabulous stay.

Exactly what we needed!

Pros: Easy access to keys, parking right outside property. Local shops were a 5 minute drive aswell as petrol station, bigger shops like Tesco were 15 minute drive. Garden enclosed for dogs, toys and blankets available for them aswell. Beautiful layout, heating is timer so was lovely and warm when we arrived in the rain. Ordered local food from JJ house was lovely cash is required, host was very accommodating even had a bottle bubbly on arrival. Need part was the cupboard full of family games, spent whole weekend with no phones no tv just family time exactly what I needed. Will be back next year.

Fantastic stay in the western side of Lake District

Pros: Brilliantly clean and really well arranged property. Gives a feeling of refreshed decor. Most things were found at the right place. Loads of kitchen ware, games, books, etc. Very clear instructions and responsive host.
