Wonderful stay

Pros: Lovely stay right in the heart of cockermouth. The house is spotless , has everything you need and Gillian is a great and attentive host!

Cons: Over the weekend the adjacent pub can be noisy but only til about 11 so not really an issue unless you need an early night!

Pros: The stay at Cumberland house was way above our expectations. The house is superb and luxurious to the point that the pictures don't make it justice. We were welcome by the owners who were flexible with the check-in time. There's a generous parking space at the location, which is so convenient considering the central location of the property. Everything was spotless!! Beds very very comfortable! Warm and cozy with sky TV and a large variety of board games. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! There's are plenty of activity options, restaurants and bars nearby. The house can sleep 6 people comfortably, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen/ dinning, living room and utility room. We had a little baby with us and they installed a cot for us. They were understanding and accommodated all our needs! Highly recommend and we are planning to go again with the next occasion!

Lovely house, equipped and finished to a high standard in a great location.

Pros: A beautiful house, finished and equipped to a very high standard, in a great central location with responsive, friendly and very professional hosts. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, beds very comfortable and the bedding and towels of high quality. Our hosts were there to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. An exceptional property.

Cons: Nothing at all to improve on. We loved it.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful home.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay as a family of seven at this privately owned house in the centre of Cockermouth. The house is beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived. Kitchen had everything you would need and the living spaces were cosy. Comfortable beds. Th location is great for exploring the Lakes and right in the centre of Cockermouth. The owners were friendly and nothing was a problem. A beautiful home, we will definitely be back.

The best holiday let I've ever stayed in! Fabulous location, in the lovely town of Cockermouth.

Pros: A perfect location in the heart of the beautiful town of Cockermouth in Cumbria. The property was fabulous, We were a party of 7. It was perfect for us! Really stunning and so luxurious and comfortable inside. The host Jill was lovely and made us feel welcome.

Cons: Nothing it is perfect.
