Excellent stay in Cockermouth. Will definitely consider staying again when we return!

Pros: Centrally located, literally a 2 minute walk from town centre. Had everything needed for a short stay.

Cons: Lack of bench space meaning preparing and dishing up food could be difficult

Pros: Nothing to complain about. Nice and cosy and relaxing everything we needed.it was lovely of you to decorate with the christmas decorations a lovely touch. Very good location.

Cons: This is not a complaint maybe a bigger settee would be better. Boxing night a few drunken people were annoying outside the property. We know its christmas and want people to enjoy themselves but they kept knocking on the door starting at about 10.30 and placing rubbish outside. 0

Pros: Lovely flat ..so nice and relaxing .. just what you need for a chilled time away ...well equipped with everything you would have at home ..has an old world feel very charming

Cons: Stairs were a bit steep which would be difficult for an elderly couple ..the addition of a couple blinds on the stained glass would aid to privacy

Comfortable accommodation in a good place for a short break in the lakes

Pros: Location was great. We slept really well. Very quiet and comfortable. Everything you need was there. A great stay. Comfortable Bed. Lovely hot shower . Good system to get the key also .

Cons: I felt the carpets need changing as I feel they could be a trip hazard , I felt the carpet on the stairs felt loose. Plus it’s coming up at the join when you go in the bathroom. Plus I feel the window in the bathroom by the toilet could do with a blind as you could see through it if someone was on the toilet. Also more hangers in the wardrobe would be good.

Enjoyable and convenient

Pros: Loved the upside down lay out. It’s closeness to Main Street, although Saturday night was a bit noisy.

Cons: Noise on Saturday night . No place to unload as the street was quite busy

Ideal location for town and shops but close to some beautiful countryside and walks

Pros: Loved the quirkiness of the cottage, very comfortable and great city centre location, ideal for restaurants and bars but also really close for some great walks with our dog

Cons: Sofa could have been a tad larger but on the whole we would definitely recommend it and look forward to a return visit
