We enjoyed staying here!

Pros: The property was well equipped, well located, supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, baker and lots of cute charity shops in walking distance. All appliances worked well, beds were comfortable, house was warm. Sheets, towels and small amount of cleaning products provided.

Cons: The garage is way too small for average car so only one car parked in front of it and second car had to park in nearby parking £6/day. Also pots and pans were all scratched except for one.

Fantastic stay would certainly return

Pros: Fantastic location accommodation was brilliant felt at home in the property loved the big sized bath

Cons: Would have been nice to have a welcome hamper when we arrived as just wanted a cuppa but no milk so had to go get some apart from that keep doing what your doing ..

Pros: The location was excellent and the house a good size for our party of 8.

Memorable stay for us in Cockermouth

Pros: Very spacious and very well maintained property. We were 7 of them, it was very comfortable for us to travel to Lake District activities and return.

Pros: Clean, tidy, had everything we needed. Great location.

Cons: Stairs, 2 staircases, not for those who have problems with stairs. We managed.

It was good and comfortable.

Pros: Property was clean and spacious. Had all necessary things one can need on long and short trip. Location was good on the top of highstreet . Boots and food shops were there. Aldi was so close for daily stuff.

Cons: The way to get the keys was a bit tricky. Was a bit dampish smell in property in the beginning but went off as we opened the windows.

Great stay in heart of cockermouth

Pros: Good location, really big space with lots of room, good kitchen , great welcome book lots of local info, super comfy beds,

Cons: Bigger explanation of the house , no mention of baby gates , or travel cot or hairdryer , needs a bigger description, second set of steps were very steep , but there is a bedroom on the lounge level for less agile guests

Pros: The property owners are really kind and accommodating. Responded to a query and helped us instantly. The property was in a very good condition, excellent big bathrooms. A washing machine downstairs for muddy clothes. Really well thought through for guests. I have never had these excellent reviews about any other properties ever. It is quiet in central place of town, many shops around if you need anything.

Cons: Parking for two 4x4 cars is impossible. two small cars can fit well (one in garage and one Infront of the other car) But paid parking easily accessible. Details about the locations of paid parking etc all written and handy for anyone who rents this property.

Pros: Onze locatie was top! dicht bij de voor ons amateurfotografen meest interessante meren: Derwent Water 20 min, Buttermere 25 min en Wastwater 1 uur. De info-map bezorgde ons nuttige informatie.

Cons: 3 van de 4 kamers waren top, in kamer 4 was het naast het bed aan de kant van het dakvenster nat...en in de kamer rook het ook wat vies... de matras op het bed mocht ook wat minder hard zijn... De potten en pannen zijn aan vernieuwing toe, maar we hebben niet echt gekookt behalve een omelet gebakken.
