Just right for our trip, which was a 3 day 4 night walking break for two elderly but fit guys.

Pros: The location was spot on. Quiet yet convenient for the town centre, Sainsbury's etc. (within walking distance). The shower was good and strong and water hot. The kitchen was well equipped. There were sufficient cupboards and drawers to unpack clothes into. The tv worked easily and was just about big enough. The house felt warm and well insulated.

Cons: The loo seat would not stay up. Only one of the three front door keys actually worked. The single beds and duvets were a little narrow and I dont like 'plastic' duvets and pillows. The sofas in the sitting room were adequate but not great for comfort.

The cottage is very comforable & cosy & has everything you need provided for a restful holiday

Pros: The location was perfect for us. It is in easy reach of Keswick & several of the lakes as well as the coast. It is not too busy being away from the honey pot regions of the the Lakes. the king size bed is the comfiest I've ever slept in on holiday & the settes with foot rests are ideal to relax in at the end of a long & busy day .

Cons: A few small items were not replaced eg, A broken light bulb & only one toilet roll. The dishwasher had inadequate instructions & no salt was provided so we had to use the rinse programme 3 times to get all the soap out.

A lovely short break in a beautiful place, with lovely surroundings

Pros: Brilliant location, lovely and clean, very spacious, ideal for what we wanted

Cons: The parking is a tight, we managed but I think it could be a problem if it was completely booked up in the surrounding properties

Pros: Good location and comfortable accommodation. A few minor problems and some essentials were meagre. We had a problem on arrival because the wrong pin was on our confirmation and we could not access the key safe

Cons: Standard of cleaning below par Keys to front door were very difficult to gain access One bedside light was inoperative Coat rack in hall kept falling down Not enough toilet rolls Shower slow to drain away water

Very good place to stay in cockermouth, 2nd visit to same property.

Pros: Location good, nice comfy property. Great for restaurants. Good base for visiting local areas of beauty.

Cons: There were a few repairs that were needed in the property. Hoping when it was cleaned someone will read the visitors book as I mentioned the little problems and hope when we stay in the future they are fixed.

Relaxed break, will be visiting again

Pros: Location for the town centre was brilliant, just a 5 minute walk. Plenty of space for us, very quiet and private. Property was easy to locate. Overall a really nice stay.

Cons: Property would be enhanced if it had WiFi, but we made plans knowing this wasn't provided. Bedding and towels smelt strongly of fabric softer which did irritate skin condition and asthma. They also had a few marks on them. The bathroomm did have a large hairball which didn't belong to our group and had been missed when mopping the floor. Car parking can be difficult when surrounding properties are occupied.
