Great location, nice quiet spot and lovely lodge

Pros: Great location, good space inside, loved the board games !

Cons: No air conditioning or fans, the lodge got very hot.

Beautiful Lodge

Pros: The lodge was beautiful. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable and homely. Really enjoyed our time here.

Cons: There doesn't seem to be a reception office . And no numbers that answer when you need to report something.

Pros: The park itself was beautiful as was the setting of Lodge and private garden. The quality of bedding and kitchen equipment etc was very good. Free WiFi a bonus.

Cons: The lodge could have been cleaner, quite a bit missed but nothing too drastic. Thanks to booking.coms confusing description we were stuck 5miles from anywhere.

Bears Lodge, Moota

Pros: Lodge was excellent, as was the accommodation. Not that it really bothered us, but the location on the booking.com site is way out. Lodge is at Moota 6 miles from Cockermouth.

Pros: Bears lodge was lovely. The lodge was lovely and clean, facilities were good too. Area cockermouth was easy to get to plenty of shops. Pubs were lovely too, the grey hound Inn was beautiful, food tasty too.
