Pros: Clean comfy accommodation. Great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Very pleasant hosts nearby to help with any queries. Happy to book again.
Cons: Kitchen area is small, but with good facilities. So, keep meals simple and avoid too much preparation.

Excellent
Pros: As a whole, we thought it met all our hopes/expectations. The outdoor patio/seating facility was a nice touch, due to the peaceful location coupled with the attractive surroundings.
Cons: The downstairs room(s) were a bit cramped, but as we spent most of our time outdoors and only really used the place as a base, it was fine.

Nearing, if not the best place that we've stayed in the UK.
Pros: The best equipped self catering property that I've ever stayed at, worldwide. Not only fridge and small freezer but washing machine, dishwasher and all types of cooking implements, plus drying rack. Took a while to find some of them though ! Quite a small property, yet a lot has been put in, room to cook, serve, eat and sit and watch TV. Good hot water, narrow but very deep bath (yay!!!) Generally very clean, modern, well furnished. Good amount of space in the main bedroom, bedside tables and lights, chest of drawers and wardrobe and good floor space, Lovely view out the back; set amongst farm buildings and other cottages, but quiet when we were there. Loads of space for parking and it seems pretty safe and remote. Wi Fi was fine for browsing and social media.
Cons: The gate at the bottom of the stairs was a real annoyance - really needs to be removable or secured back for those without dogs or small children, and actually did clout us on the legs a few times. Especailly a nuisance in the dark when you have to come downstairs to use the loo. That's the only real downside of this property: the loo and sink and bath and shower are all downstairs, and the light on the narrow angled stairs isn't good or easy to find if you're not familiar with things - be careful. And the clothes drying rack, if you use it, is vicious in the extreme when you collapse it. I trapped and hurt my thumb quite badly trying to put it away again. (But I'm feeling generous so won't hold that against them!) Shame that you can't sit out the back but there is a table and chairs out the front, although the sun went off them in early evening. TV is the usual very basic Freeview channels only, but we're used to that in Scotland and northern England. Kitchen is not really useable by 2 people at the same time as is very narrow. A tad of a pain if you're both rushing around to make sandwiches, cold drinks, cook, etc etc: but fine if one person gets the joys of doping it all!!

Pros: Very clean and was great for a couple of nights away
Cons: There could have been tea and coffee available. This is pretty standard for every type of accommodation
