Brilliant place except for parking

Pros: Amazing location great accommodation very comfy beds

Cons: Parking or lack of we arrived at different times in 4 different cars and everyone of us got a parking ticket as we unloaded even though the lady that saw when I checked in said we would have time to unload it was like they were lying in wait for us and even though we had 2 parking permits to find a space in the car park was very difficult ( It was Easter weekend) but if we had been pre warned we could have tried to consolidate our cars better also the lady who saw me check in said she regularly parked outside and never had a ticket !

Pros: The location was excellent, and all the local businesses were very friendly and provided really good service. The accomodation was all we could have hoped for.

Cons: A lack of toilet paper, meant a trip to Ambleside. The local co op convinience store was closed for 8 weeks refurbishment. As the only store in Grasmere, this could have been communicated to us, and future guests.

Beautiful location. Don't expect any extras.

Pros: It's a beautiful old house with gorgeous views over the village and mountains. It's very centrally located in Grasmere, yet is tucked away off a side road, so it's very quiet. We loved the lounge, very spacious with picture windows and plenty of seats. The kitchen is well-equipped and it's great that each room has its own bathroom. On the whole it's very comfortable.

Cons: For the price we paid, you would expect complimentary toiletries, or at the very least, some shower gel. Each room only had a tiny little packet of soap and one toilet roll.

Perfect short break in a beautiful property in my favourite place in Cumbria.

Pros: The location is excellent right in the centre of Grasmere and ideal for walkers and families. The park is in a Beautiful position and the children love the play facilities. We were blessed with Sunshine too🌞. Special family memories 🫶.

Cons: There are no complaints as the property and location are ideal. 🤗.
