Excellent location in the center of Grasmere

Pros: The location was very good with the cottage being right in the centre of Grasmere. It was helpful to have an additional car parking space, albeit for a small car, near the entrance to the cottage..

Cons: The allocated car space is very tight and any car bigger than a medium size family car would find it very tight to park. It would be useful to have a hand wash in the upstairs bathroom. It should be made clear in the details that towels are being provided and as we could not get the agents to confirm this, we brought ours up unnecessarily.

Nicely appointed cottage

Pros: Excellent appointed cottage in centre of Grasmere. Spacious living room. Well equipped kitchen. Utility/drying room a big plus. Dedicated car parking space (though will be a bit tight for larger cars/SUVs)

Cons: Getting to grips with electric hob. There is no DVD or CD player as listed.
