Mountain View

Great stay, very impressed with apartment.

Pros: Well appointed and stylish apartment. It had everything you could need to self cater. Clean, comfortable and great views. It is also in a central location and the parking outside is a great bonus. Easy to walk into town, equally easy to hop in the car and drive out somewhere.

Quality, pet free environment with great views.

Pros: Great location right in central Keswick with access to lake, shops, restaurants etc all on doorstep. The furnishings and fittings were of a high quality and well laid out. I loved the luxury feel of the bedsheets and the huge soft towels. The Nespresso style coffee machine was great. Some capsules provided but not enough for us coffee lovers. The mountain view from the windows was great. I would definitely book again.

Cons: I asked to check in one hour early and was told 'no problem that will cost £25'!! I politely declined having paid good already! There are a lot of stairs to climb but it is worth it for the view and overall quality of apartment. I only wish we could appreciate the view sitting on the sofa but it was so good from the kitchen we actively wanted to wash up rather than use the dishwasher! The windows whilst double glazed appeared to have zero sound proofing but it didn't bother us personally. Expect to wake as the sun comes up due to flimsy blinds not curtains in bedroom - fine if you want to get out and about early but not ideal for a lazy long sleep. The tablet that they rely on for providing information to guests contains incorrect information such as pets allowed which they are definitely not. I am perfectly capable of using such technology but this one was just a gimmick in my opinion and even failed to provide the correct wifi code (which fortunately we found scribbled on a good old fashioned piece of paper on the windowsill)

Pros: Great location in the middle of Keswick and really nice flat. Everything was really modern and there was plenty of space for 4 people.

Cons: Keys weren't in the lock box when we arrived but staff at Keswick COttages were very apologetic and brought us the keys immediately! Arrival directions/instructions could be better.

Pros: A great apartment in the heart of the town, well apportioned, they have made the best use of the space. Plenty of light, superb views and all the mod cons. We loved the layout and felt totally relaxed. Beds in particular deserve a special mention as v comfy and cool, best sleep we have experienced on a holiday. A good few stairs to negotiate but well worth it for this premium stay. Good value too! An easy recommend.
