1 Windsor House

Pros: The location was right in the town only than 2 minutes to the shops and bars, but off the street, so I still had my own privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom was almost pitch black at night. Great selection of books, games, and DVDs.

Cons: The upstairs noise, I could hear people walking around above the kitchen and living room, & the down waste pipe was next to the bedroom window so I could hear every time they flushed the toilet or ran the sink.

Please can I book again for the equivalent stay in 2026?

Pros: This was an apartment and had every things I wanted/needed. It was very close to town but also very quiet. Easy parking. Ideal for what I wanted.

Cons: It was all fine.

Had a great stay after first night’s disturbance.

Pros: Very central , very clean. Everything you needed was there.

Cons: Bedroom disturbed by bathroom above through the night, had to sleep in the lounge for our stay.

Would love to stay here again if I return to Keswick

Pros: Facilities were excellent, comfortable accommodation, in a quiet yet central location. Fantastic collection of DVDs and books to refer to.

Cons: Smoke alarm a bit too sensitive - kept going off even with the precaution of closing the door to the kitchen. Good news was that only the local alarm seemed to be affected, so the central alarm didn't need resetting.

Satisfactory.

Pros: Excellent location. Car parking space. Tiny outside area in which to sit out. Kitchen very well equipped, except for dishwasher.

Cons: Only one loo roll for two people, which I don't expect at a property this price. Had to buy some. The kitchen is so tiny only one person can really do anything in it at a time. The bedroom wasn't very thoroughly vacuumed. There was a metal tissue box, but empty, so pointless.
